Natalie R. Smith, D.D.S.

Dr. Natalie R. Smith grew up outside of Gainesville, Florida. She attended the University of Florida where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Zoology. Following completion of her undergraduate degree, she earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, Maryland. Upon graduation, she was the recipient of the Dean’s Outstanding Community Service Award.

Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Smith completed a 1-year General Practice Residency at the University of Minnesota Medical and Dental Schools’ Minneapolis VA Medical Center. She proceeded to work as a general dentist in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area.

In 2018, Dr. Smith moved to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue her surgical training. She completed internship and residency training at the Emory University School of Medicine’s Department of Surgery in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2022.

Outside of oral surgery, Dr. Smith has many passions including hiking, cycling, gardening, and exploring the great outdoors. She now lives in Atlanta with her husband Zack and their Australian shepherd Karma.
