Jeffrey Schultz was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He received his pre-dental education from Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, PA, majoring in Chemistry. Dr. Schultz then enrolled in the Master of Medical Science Program in Anesthesia at Emory University. Following completion of his Master's Degree, he was employed as a PA anesthetist in the Department of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia at Emory University Hospital. In 1984, Dr. Schultz entered the Emory University School of Dentistry where he was an Emily Woodruff Scholar, graduating as a member of the last class of the School of Dentistry in 1988. Dr. Schultz then continued his post graduate advanced dental education at Emory University Hospitals, completing his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1992.

Dr. Schultz has been in private practice since 1992 and is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Surgery. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon and was President of the Georgia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons from 2005-2006. He continues to serve in the House of Delegates of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Schultz, his wife Sharon, and their six children have called Newnan home since 1996. He enjoys all sports including skiing and bicycling and especially enjoys time spent with his family. His surgical interest includes the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
